The Role of PLAY in Learning

Please join us on Friday, October 29, 2010 for a one-day gathering of self-defined progressive educators from throughout the upper mid-west area to explore “The Role of Play in Learning.” All of the day’s activities will relate to this theme in some way. This conference will provide an opportunity for those attending to:
· Reflect on the relationship between theory and practice
· Discuss practice and share curriculum
· Share resources and research that supports the value of play
· Share stories and network with like-minded educators

The day will include workshop offerings and an opportunity to participate in Open Space style small group discussions. Coffee, tea, snacks and lunch will be provided. Tours of Wingra School classrooms will be offered on Thursday afternoon, October 28th for those able to arrive a day prior to the conference.
